Around 6 to 6:30 in the Scranton Commons, the dining hall is cluttered with students eating dinner with friends, spanning from small groups to large entourages sitting together, stealing chairs from other tables to squeeze together to share a meal. I noticed that most groups spend around a half hour to forty minutes there at a time, spending a majority of that time socializing with their friends with stacks of finished plates in front of them. It should also be noted when there are smaller groups of people or someone eating alone, they tend to spend less time in the Commons, usually on their phones as they eat and leaving swiftly once they finish their meal.
